M.A.R.C.H.E - Everything Else

These gloves are your first line of protection when handling and dealing with casualties during medical incidents, crisis response and biohazard mitigation. Sold by the pair. The first step in responding to an incident is to ensure your own safety. Keep a pair in your IFAK, medical kit or otherwise nearby, and keep yourself safe while rendering aid.

What You Get:

One pair of green nitrile gloves, staged and sealed in a resealable bag. Pretty simple, right? Well, hold on, because there's a bit more to it.

First, the gloves come in three sizes - Medium, Large and Extra Large. They are positioned in the resealable bag cuff towards the opening, so you can get your hands in as you are removing the gloves.

The bag is a clear, 2 mil 3"x4" with a zip top, big enough to hold your watch and jewellery (or theirs), should you need to remove them to do the work. The sharpie you keep in your trauma kit can be used to ID the contents you put into the bag by writing across the Iridium Solutions label, located on the white block on the front of the bag.

The gloves themselves are 4mil thick. Green, so that any blood that contacts them during assessment of the casualty's torso and limbs will stand out, and constructed with a special ingredient that will cause them to biodegrade in 8-11 years in a landfill, instead of the more common 200 years. (Don't worry, they won't biodegrade on your hands while you're wearing them!)

Note, while these gloves make effective direct biohazard protection, they are (as with almost all nitrile gloves) not suitable protection against CBRN threats, which generally require full body garments.
