The Iridium Group is an organization comprised of subject matter experts from diverse backgrounds with a shared purpose to increase the survivability of the average citizen during times of crisis and duress. 

Our goal is to create increased resiliency in the general public through knowledge, training and equipment such that individuals and families are better prepared to endure hard times which may be coming. 

We provide training courses and consultation services tailored to our client’s needs. 

We proliferate military grade safety and hard use gear to civilians, first responders, security professionals and law enforcement members.

We create and distribute evocative content designed to inform on and inspire lifestyles of competence, strategic thinking and resiliency.

MEET OUR TEAM (Sort of...)

The Iridium Solutions Team is comprised of civilian professionals, first responders and active law enforcement members from Canada and abroad. Most of the team members who contribute valuable time, energy and subject matter expertise to the overall effectiveness of the training and services must work behind the scenes due to agency or divisional OPSEC requirements (which sounds a lot cooler than it really is).

The authenticity of the talent pool they represent cannot be faked however, and while we can’t present them to you, there is one face you will recognize from our videos and social media posts: our CEO Ed Hubbell.

Ed Hubbell

CEO & FOUNDER

Ed is (mostly) public facing; he’s a Civilian Firearms Instructor, Security Consultant, Radiation Protection Specialist, and holder of more Industrial Inspection Certifications than we can count.

He is the owner of Iridium Solutions Inc., a technical consulting, training and inspection company founded in 2017 to bring worldwide expertise to regional Oil&Gas and Energy sector projects.

Training

Ed’s training resume is as long as his certificate list. From Extended Wilderness Living Skills with the late Mors Kochanski in Northern Alberta to The Fight – Force on Force Scenario-based training with Tactical Response in Tennessee, he has demonstrated himself to be a consistent student in some of the toughest training environments available to civilians.

At his rural home outside of Prince George, BC he is the father of two boys, a survivalist, an emergency preparedness practitioner and affectionately nicknamed 'The Snowbird' by his Southern friends and training partners.
